Inspire. Empower. Nurture.
YouCAN is a non-profit initiative that conducts short-term and long-term programs for middle school students, youth and teachers to become environmentalists. We use multimedia storytelling and experiential learning to inspire, empower and nurture students and youth to protect and restore the natural world.
The reason – The Planet’s Health is Our Health. We must do everything needed to revive the wellness of the planet and its people through determination, courage and imagination.
Our Tailor-made Programmes
Developed and run in Collaboration with Cogitation Club, Earth Authors is a unique one-year mentoring program for children to create children’s books. Students explore the natural world, write and illustrate storybooks using their real-life experiences. Their expressions such as nature journaling, writings, artwork, and discussions, create a documentation of their exploration and bring support for environmental causes.
Earth Educators Fellowship
The Earth Educators Programme is a fellowship that brings together young volunteers for the environment, emerging conservationists and school teachers. They embark on an 11-month journey to explore the natural world, curate immersive learning experiences for students, build skills, and a community to lead conservation action in their locality.
