Kriti Jain is a field-oriented environmental professional dedicated to biodiversity conservation, nature education, and community engagement. With hands-on experience across projects such as the Urban Tiger Conservation Project, the Bhopal Butterfly Corridor, and naturalist work at Van Vihar National Park, she brings strong skills in species identification, ecological documentation, environmental outreach, and creative nature-based learning. A BNHS member, Earth Educators Fellow, and recipient of multiple recognitions, she continues to combine research, education, and grassroots action to inspire ecological responsibility. Guided by the belief: “I don’t want to protect the environment, I want to create a world where the environment doesn’t need protecting.”

Bhopal Butterfly Corridor Project — A community-centred initiative in Khari Village (Sehore district) that engages children (Grades 5–8 and younger) in creating butterfly-friendly gardens in homestays and neighbourhood spaces. Through hands-on sessions, walks, games, caterpillar observation, drawing, card activities, and story-based learning, the project restores pollinator habitats, builds awareness of butterfly ecology, and nurtures young “butterfly protectors” who advocate for nature within their village.
