Chetna is a nature educator based in Bengaluru, working at the intersection of ecology, curiosity-driven learning, and inclusive education. Her work centres on using nature as a medium to support holistic learning across science, art, language, and mathematics. She focuses on sustained engagement with children in schools, building trust and long-term relationships, and works with learners from both alternative private schools and non-profit schools serving low-income and marginalised communities. Her practice is grounded in observation, responsiveness to children’s questions, and humility towards diverse lived realities.

Chetna’s passion project involves designing and facilitating nature-based learning experiences that foster curiosity, empathy, and deep engagement with the living world. Through short workshops and long-term school partnerships, she works with children to explore ecological concepts such as life cycles, patterns, interconnections, and biodiversity. Sessions often emerge from real-life observations or children’s questions and are followed by detailed reflection and documentation to strengthen continuity and learning depth within schools.
